Henri Gaudier-Brzeska

“One of the most powerful and original artists of his time”.

A renowned practitioner of futurism and vortisism in the early 20th century whose contribution to the movement went virtually unrecognised until recent years.

Unique books available here.

‘Burning to speak’ is one of two books I have written about the life and work of this artist. This book was the first definitive catalogue of his works and the text is beautifully illustrated with images of the artist’s work.

The second book ‘Gaudier Brzeska, Artist and Myth’ explores the complex story of the man behind the work using the extensive archive I have of his work, drawings, publications, letters and papers.

Copies of both books which are now out of print can be obtained through this website, prices vary according to condition, but there are still some pristine copies available. Please contact me directly to discuss your requirements on the enquiry form.

Access to my Gaudier Brzeska Archive can be arranged on application and I give illustrated lectures to interested groups. Fees and charges depend on size of audience and geographical location. Please contact me to discuss your requirements via the enquiry form.
